The last part of our presentation series on WoltLab Suite 5.3 focuses on the simplification of recurring tasks as well as the simplification of processes in order to further improve the user-friendliness of the day-to-day operation.
In the previous three parts we have already dealt with the new features and improvements of WoltLab Suite 5.3. In this fourth part we will discuss further improvements, which are mainly of benefit to the administrator.
We would like to interrupt this series to present changes that are significant for developers of plugins and apps. This part is exclusively for developers, we will cover further innovations for administrators and users in the upcoming part 4.
In the two previous parts we have addressed the concept of "Quality of Life" improvements. This defines our motivation to use the extensive feedback from customers and users to extend and make smart improvements to existing features.
In the first part, we took a closer look at the new 2-click solution for external content, global thread forms and other "quality of life" improvements. This focus on the revision and intelligent improvement of existing functionalities also applied to the development of version 5.3 of WoltLab Suite Filebase, which we would like to describe in detail in the following.
The fifth and final part of our spotlight series for WoltLab Suite 5.2 highlights two new major updates for developers, form builder and improvements and new features for our integrated developer tools.

New Features in WoltLab Suite 3.1: Comment Improvements and User Profile Cover Images
WoltLab Suite 3.1 puts great emphasis on improving the commenting system that is used in many places across our software, including but not limited to the wall in user profiles or the comments on images and videos in WoltLab Suite Gallery.
With version 3.1 of WoltLab Suite Gallery, we have added support for videos. In addition to images, users will now also be able to either directly upload videos or link videos from video platforms like YouTube. For links to video platforms, WoltLab Suite Gallery 3.1 is able to automatically fetch video information like the videos' thumbnails.

The version Beta 2 of WoltLab Suite is already on the horizon, and while we round up the finishing touches, it is time to present yet another component of the upcoming release. This is the second thread in the series of five threads on the biggest changes.
