How Do I Install Other Plugins/Applications?

There are two ways to install plugins/applications in an existing community Framework.



Installation via the package server


Log in to the administration interface (ACP) and go to System -> Packages -> Install Package -> Search Package.

Type into the field Package Name the name of the plugin/application you want to install (for example, calendar) and click Submit. Now click in the hit list on the + in front of the name of the package and follow the instructions of the installation wizard.






:!: Note: If this is a commercial package, then you must purchase it previously in our webshop or plugin-store to install it over our package servers. :!:







For the package servers http://update.woltlab.com you need the license and serial number of your purchased license.


The license and serial number can be found in the customer area under All Licenses -> Details.




For the package servers http://store.woltlab.com you need the login data of your customers account.






Manual installation


Download in the plugin store the desired plugin or in the customer area the update package to the desired application.

Log in to the administration interface (ACP) and go to System -> Packages -> Install Package -> Upload Package


Select from your hard drive the just downloaded package and click Submit. Now follow the instructions of the installation wizard.
