Multiple views
Community Calendar provides a differentiated set of views: weekly or monthly view and a structured event listing.
Each event has it's own detail page representing all relevant informations, it may be modified with additional display options. Within each user profile exists a small, but handy calendar containing all upcoming events for the current month.
Calendar management
Each user may use multiple calendars which can be marked with individual colors. Calendars can be used both private or shared accross other users and user groups including a flexible set of permissions.
Importing events from external sources is nothing but child's play: Community Calendar supports the ICS-format. You have the choice to import events once or repetitively as a subscription which automatically keeps your calendar up-to-date. Furthermore you may export calendars for usage with e.g. desktop applications.
Notifications may be send using e-mail or private message for each calendar. Moderation tools allow manipulations of other events.
Recurring events and Google Maps
Experience the countless features: create recurring events, attach as many documents as you need, format description with our WYSIWYG-editor and a built-in commentary-feature for events - no calendar software arounds provides such a wide variety of combination possibilities.
Make use of our seamless Google Maps integration: you can assign a location for a specific event resulting in an automatic representation on map. This way you users can calculate a route in no time.
List of participants
Manage a list of participants within each event: configure an application deadline or limit the number of participants. Furthermore you may invite users or add them to the current event, of course you may remove participants at any time. Members may apply for each event themselves, e.g. to indicate interest.
You may send a private message to participants and choose wether the list is viewable just by yourself or anyone. Furthermore you may hide events from non-participant without creating a new calendar.
Synchronization
Community Calendar provides multiple interfaces for synchronization with third-party calendars or applications using the iCalendar data-format.
Using Community Calendar's synchronization feature you may synchronize your calendar with applications like Apple iCal or Microsoft Outlook in no time. Furthermore you can create calendars used for data exchange with remote websites.
