Allow your users to create blog entries within their own user profile. Make use of our flexible permission management: Grant your team, specific user groups or your whole community the right to create entries.

Users can define which users may access and read their entries, for instance a user could set an entry into private mode allowing only his friends to view it.

Structure entries with categories and tagging

Community Blog provides two different ways to structure their blog entries: Categories and tags

An user can create individual categories and assign his entries to one of multiple categories. Secondary users may choose tagging as already known from Burning Board. Using the tag cloud you could find specific entries together with board threads or gallery pictures.

Creating texts with an advanced layout

Remind these plain, unpersonal texts in the past? Formatting enables you to create a personal touch and make your messages easier to read. Simplicity describes best our advanced message editor - already known from Burning Board - allowing you to insert any kind of visual scope for design. The editor behaves mostly like common text processing software like Word or OpenOffice - the software will not limit your constructiveness!

Comments

Users may comment blog entries, but they are limited to smileys and links, any other formatting is disabled. You may configure user permissions for writing, editing and deleting comments. Unregistered users are forced to type in an Captcha, as already known from Burning Board.
