Great news are underway: Everything turned simple - with our powerful style editor. Fit your community to match your needs without any prior knowledge. We turned modifying the visual components of your board a breeze. Change colors, font types, alignment, background graphics, hover-effects, hyperlinks and much more with nothing but a few mouse clicks - no need to burrow through source code or rather cryptic CSS-files. On the opposite every advanced web designer may insert custom CSS-code to realize any visual approach - the editor treats “limitation” as unknown!
Finally, this is not the end of the line! You can export styles and hand them out to your friends or import your friend's styles: The style import is far away from rocket-science, a few mouse clicks and you are done! The system allows you to change styles within seconds, everything is up to you. Additionally you may offer your style in our Plugin-Store for download!
The software speaks your language
Burning Board can be used multilingual in as many languages as you want. Every text parts or messages are stored inside so-called language files. You can easily modify the translations or add new languages. By default Burning Board ships language files for Chinese, Danish, German, English, French, Italian, Croat, Brazilian Portuguese, Swedish and Turkish. And best of all: The translations include both, the board front-end and the administration control panel. Furthermore you may modify translations for each language or change specific translations within each language.
Multilingual communities use our unique feature allowing users to create contents in a language of their choice and filter the output by specific languages. Imagine a community with both German and English content: An English user may filter out German contents with nothing but a simple form checkbox.
