In order to run a Burning Board you will need your own server or webspace, that supports PHP and MySQL databases.
The requirements are PHP version 5.0.5 and MySQL version 4.1.2. For better speed, stability and security it is recommended that you use the current stable version of PHP and MySQL.
Furthermore the forum requires approximately 6MB disk space for the basic installation. This is divided into 4MB for the database and 2MB for the file system. The usage of disc space increases with more user activity. A forum with 2000 posts is estimated to use approximately 1MB of database space.
