Analogous to the catchphrase web 2.0 there's now a corresponding style for the forum: Filofax 2.0.
It is visually based on an organizer, impressing with a lucid and clear structure as well as functionality. The oblong header, the fitted search-field tab and the angular shaped menu buttons appear like a clade, which is refined by means of various clous. For instance, there's a soft hoover effect via mousover including a colour gradient, a soft shimmering effect due to vertical tab edgings and an analogous effect upon the number of threads within a topic. Furthermore the quoting and search-field display a jag-outline on the left hand side and again, based on a filofax the user field within a thread appears on the right hand side and divided via striplines. In terms of colour Filofax 2.0 is kept intentionally in cool tones, in order to emphasise its functional and not dainty character.
With this style nothing is standing in the way towards the future web progress. People appreciating subtle but detailed designs, which don't distract from the main forum but highlighting it in a stylish way, will have their lucky find with this design.
