Purchase Confusion

Hello.

I am slightly confused at the purchase. I see the board and the update/ support purchase too. :S

Does a new board purchase not include any time for update then ? , I mean like 3 months or so until new purchase of "update / support" is needed.

I guess I am asking if I needed to buy the update at the same time as the board I think.

Also what do the V-Collection Iconset look like ?

Thank you.

A new Burning Board license includes 2-years free troubleshooting (3rd part of the version, e.g. 3.1.6 or 3.1.7). New major releases (changes in the 1st or 2nd part, e.g. 4.0.0 or 4.1.0) require an active update access which could be purchased once you buy a license or at any later point of time.

Except for the free troubleshooting mentioned above, you have free access to our forums where you can ask any question concerning the software, but this forum is mainly based upon "customers helping customers". If you want official support (ticket-based) you have to purchase the support option, once again it does not matter if you purchase it now or later.

The V-Collection is a different icon-set for Burning Board 3 (the default one is called "X-Collection"). You might want to take a look at the Blue Space style, which makes use of the V-Collection icons. You can easily switch back to the default style in the dropdown in the bottom right corner of every page (default style: "Blue Sunrise").

If there's any question left, feel free to ask ;)
