For the automatic update you need to authenticate with the license information found in your members area. The following steps are required:

1. Login to your administration panel (ACP) as administrator
   
2. Select the menu item "System" -> "Package Management" -> "List servers"
   
3. Select from the list of servers the row "update.woltlab.com"
   
4. Enter the following data into the form:
   Address: http://update.woltlab.com
   Username: Your license number *
   Password: Your serial number *
   
5. Submit the form and start the update at: ACP -> "System" -> "Package Management" -> "Automatic Update"

After login click "My Licenses" in your members area (My Account).

Caution: To copy and paste the serial number may produce errors, because sometimes hidden characters are being copied unintentionally. You won't be able to recognise that mistake in a password field where all characters are being replaced. Thus it is a good habit to either type the serial in by hand or paste the copied text into a plain text editor and copy it from there again to paste it into our serial field finally.
