How to temporary close the forum

Heya My question is how to temporary close my forum . If i want to oepn it later i mean after 2/3 hours for example :D Or for a maintenance or smth .

WBB3 includes an maintenance mode - wbb lite 2 does not. However, you could simply place an .htaccess file in the folder of your forum that redirects all requests to an index.html file, that you can freely create (you might wan't to write something like "We will be back soon" into it).

In WBB3 you can activate the maintenance mode on the ACP under System => Options => General => Disable forums temporarily. You can also specify a message that will be shown to your users there.
